Since 1993, we have played  a significant and active part in changing the business culture in Scotland and the Scottish business angel marketplace is now amongst the most developed in Europe.

Recently, we have supported the emergence and formation of structured business angel syndicates, which have increased the choice of funding sources and helped professionalise the whole sector.

LINC Scotland’s role is to support and improve the working of the business angel environment in Scotland.  At individual deal level, we focus on improving the efficiency of the ‘process’ by making targeted introductions to well matched business angels among our members. These include most of the well known syndicates and hundreds of individual investors who prefer less public visibility.

Part of our extended role is to represent business angel groups at a National and Governmental level, and on their behalf undertake lobbying and similar activities.

We act as facilitators not investment advisers and strongly recommend that the investee and investor take professional advice before making any investment related decisions.
